At last week's Macaroni Kid Holiday Toy Time party, there was one toy that really stood out among the older kids. Meet StikBot!
StikBot from Zing is a toy that your technology-savvy kids can use to make fun and easy stop-motion movies. Here's how it works. Each StikBot is a moveable figure with suction cup hands and feet. Pose your StikBot (everywhere becomes a stage!) and take a photo. Then move StikBot a tiny bit, take another photo, and continue this pattern until you're finished. The free app stitches the images together to make a movie, and you can also add sound effects and other exciting touches to really make it pop!

Afterwards, you can share your movie on social media with the hastag #stikbot (and also see what other kids are making, all over the world!) There's even a StikBot video contest that's awarding a $20K cash prize! (Check out more details at www.stikbot.com)
Stik Bot is designed for kids ages 4 and up, but even the younger children seemed to enjoy him. (Check out the video I made with my son below!)
