Located in the Plymouth Meeting Mall, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Philadelphia is the ultimate Lego adventure for all ages. My husband and I went with our 3 year old and 7 year old and all four of us had a great time! The Discovery Center is made up of several different stations, all of which offer Lego-themed fun. We were all mesmerized with the Miniland replica of Philadelphia. Landmarks such as Boathouse Row, where you could race boats, Lincoln Financial Field, which had a Superbowl Champions sign, and even the Philadelphia Museum of Art, complete with Rocky running up the steps, were on display among so many others. The attention to detail was meticulous.

Aside from building at various stations, including Lego Friends which had my daughter very excited, we also perfected our ninja skilled at the Ninjago Training Camp. The laser maze had us practicing our agility skills to complete as quickly as possible without breaking the laser beams and hitting as many bonuses as we could. Although there was a line for the Ninjago training laser maze, it went very fast and the different levels provided a fun and challenging course for all of us.

We also experienced two 4D movies in the theater! 4D goes beyond 3D with water splashes, snow, and wind during the movie. The kids had a blast when the elements "hit" them during the 3D Ninjago and 3D Lego Movie experiences. Each movie was only about 12 minutes long, a perfect amount of time to keep us occupied. We also rode the Imagination Express, a ride that took us on an interactive adventure where we popped bubbles and pointed our wands at the stars. It was a lot of fun and we make it through with me being the high scorer of the family! Woot! Woot!
With all the extras, the building stations, and the Creative Workshop where we learned to build a grill, we spent an entire day having fun together and no one complained they were bored! We will definitely be returning in the very near future but until then, we are enjoying our LEGO sets at home and letting our creative juices flow thanks to the inspiration of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center.
