It's spring again! And this year the Phillies Taxi Squad is playing at Coca-Cola Park, so it's the perfect time to catch a game. This past weekend we headed out with the kids to the first or three spring training games at Coca-Cola Park. I have to say, it was the perfect way to spend a chilly Saturday evening. (Seriously though, look at the background of that picture. When have you seen the stadium so empty before?)
The Iron Pigs have thought of everything when it comes to keeping your family safe. "Pods" are seated together and spaced out throughout the stadium. Extra cleaning procedures have been put into place around the park. Masks are required on any visitors over the age of two. I have to say, we consider ourselves Covid "sticklers" and we felt safe during our entire visit.
The kids had an absolute blast! They visited the gift shop, stuffed themselves full of hotdogs, and cheered on their favorite team! They both agreed that their favorite part was watching the mascots race around the field. They were also THRILLED to see themselves up on the big screen two times!
