Here is Macaroni Kid Allentown - Kutztown's picks for the five things to do in the Lehigh Valley with kids between May 20 - 23. Click on the links for all the details!

1. Opening Weekend at Dorney Park (https://www.dorneypark.com/daily-tickets)

Does anything feel like summer more than heading to an amusement park? This weekend Dorney Park will be reopening for the season. While there's still another weekend until Wildwater Kingdom opens, you can still buy tickets to ride all of the rides and enjoy a day of fun. Click on the link above to purchase tickets and make a reservation. (Saturday and Sunday, May 22nd and 23rd)

2. Lehigh Valley Food Truck Festival at Coca-Cola Park  (https://www.milb.com/lehigh-valley/news/lehigh-valley-food-truck-festival-is-back-at-coca-cola-park)

This Saturday, you'll find my family at this delicious event! Entry is free and parking is $6 in advance or $8 at the door. Not a bad price for an afternoon full of yummy food trucks and local music. Click on the link above to see all of the vendors and performers. (Saturday, May 22nd)

3. Attend a FREE Outdoor Concert at Bear Creek (https://www.bcmountainresort.com/play/events/?c=1&m=20210601)

This weekend, Bear Creek Mountain Resort will be kicking off their outdoor summer concert series! This week's performer will be Frog Holler. Grab some lawn chairs and head out to this beautiful venue for music, drinks, yummy food, and fun! (Sunday, May 23rd)

4. Tunes at Twilight is Back in Downtown Bethlehem (https://getdowntownbethlehem.com/tunes-at-twilight/)

Who says you can't start the weekend on Thursday? Downtown Bethlehem just brought back Tunes at Twilight, but with a twist this year. Instead of one location, several restaurants along Main Street and Broad Street will all feature different musicians playing live music. You can make a reservation at one of the amazing restaurants, or wander down the street and listen to the music coming from each restaurant. There is also an area set up in the "parklet" behind the Sun Inn to eat and drink. With a weather forecast of 84 tomorrow, I know where I'll be! (Thursday, May 20)

 5. Rock the Walk at Pocket Park (https://downtownallentown.com/events/rock-the-walk/)

I'm going to continue the trend of starting the weekend on Thursday (This should be a thing, right?) with Rock the Walk at Pocket Park. Every Thursday, local music and pop up vendors will be setting up at Pocket Park in Allentown. (Thursday, May 20)
