Like many parents in the Allentown, I am always on the lookout for a fun way to keep my kids engaged and active. It can be difficult to find age-appropriate activities for younger children. Luckily, I connected with Gary Carmona from Amazing Athletes and Super Soccer Stars. These two programs offer sessions around the Lehigh Valley for children 2-6 years old. And they are developmentally appropriate for children 2-6 years old!

I enrolled my almost-4-year-old in Super Soccer Stars and I could not have been happier. Each class was small and informal. There were about five other children and parents were welcome to join in to help. Each week had its own fun theme, like: pirates, space, and even fruit smoothies! There was a perfect mix of soccer skills and fun games to keep the children's attention.

Best of all, the coach was phenomenal! Teaching soccer to a group of 2-4 year olds is a bit like hearing cats. It takes a very special person to be able to keep children engaged, happy, and do so with a smile on their face. Gary was all of these things and more! He got right down to the kids' level and laughed as they ran around like a pack of, well, 2-4 year olds. He never seemed overwhelmed or frustrated.
