July 21, 2022

1- Blues, Brews, and BBQ Festival

This Saturday marks the 14th annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ Festival in downtown Allentown. This is a FREE event and open to the public. There will be musicians and performances throughout downtown. In addition, you can enjoy food and beverages at an additional expense. (Saturday, July 23rd)

2- Zoocoustic Night at the Zoo

I love the amount of fun events that the Lehigh Valley Zoo plans! This Saturday, you can hang out at the zoo after hours to hang with the animals and listen to relaxing acoustic music. The best part, you'll be helping the zoo raise money. Local musicians include Kendal Conrad, Stacy Gabel, Erin Kelly, John Strasburger and more! Come hungry and enjoy delicious food from Geakers at the Zoo. Adults 21 and older can enjoy beverages from local wineries. This is a ticketed event. Follow the link above for more information and to purchase tickets. (Saturday, July 23rd)

3- Enjoy a FREE Concert at Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Take a short drive to Bear Creek Mountain Resort and feel like you're on vacation for the night! Music performance by Frog Holler. Don't forget to bring lawn chairs and blankets and let the kiddos run around while you relax and enjoy a beverage, for purchase. (Sunday, July 24th)

4- Cuddle with Adoptable Kittens and Listen to Animal-Themed Stories

Well this has to be the cutest event on our list! This Sunday, Let's Play Books will be partnering with The Sanctuary at Haafsville for Tales for Tails Storytime & Kitten Meet and Greet. Cuddle with kittens and listen to stories. Stick around after and do some shopping for new books!

5- Check out Macaroni Kid Bethlehem for more fun events this weekend, only a short drive away!
