5 Things to do This Weekend in the Lehigh Valley (November 24th- 26th)

By Rebecca Seidenberger, Macaroni KID Allentown and Bethlehem November 22, 2023

1- Small Business Saturday

Before you run out to hit the sales on Friday, think about waiting until Small Business Saturday instead. Big box stores won't remember every purchase you make, but the small business down the street will. Plus you can find truly unique gifts that will bring a smile to everyone on your list's face!

2- Bethlehem Tree Lighting

How beautiful is Bethlehem at Christmastime? We really are lucky to live in such a magical place all year, but the next month is even better. This Friday, join one of the biggest tree lightings in the Lehigh Valley. This event includes beautiful music, a giant tree, and Santa!

3- A Very Furry Christmas

I used to love taking my kids to Sesame Place when they were little, especially around the holidays. How lucky are we to live only an hour from this magical place full of Sesame Street friends. During A Very Furry Christmas, Sesame Place is transformed into a winter wonderland! Twinkly lights, holiday decorations, shows, and a giant Christmas tree. 4- Colorful Christmas

Colorful Christmas at Crayola Factory is now open! Make festive crafts, enter a giant snow globe, visit Edwin the Painting Snowman, and even visit with the singing Christmas Tree! (Friday - Sunday, November 24th - 26th)

5- Winter Light Spectacular

Winter Light Spectacular at Lehigh Valley Zoo is a wonderful way to truly immerse yourself in the Christmas Spirit.

In addition to breathtaking light displays, the event offers:

  • Classic holiday scenes
  • Numerous photo opportunities
  • Multiple fire pits
  • Seasonal treats like hot chocolate & s’mores
  • Live performances every night by popular princesses Anna, Elsa, Belle and Cinderella
  • Photos with Santa
