5 Things to do This Weekend in the Lehigh Valley (April 5th-7th)

1- Prepare for Monday's Eclipse

In case you missed it, this Monday will be the first Solar Eclipse visible in the United States since 2017, and the last one until August of 2044. There are multiple ways to prepare for this event in the Lehigh Valley this weekend and on Monday. On Saturday, you can head to Nurture Nature Center in Easton to learn about the eclipse and make pinhole projectors. Then on Monday, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley will be hosting a Solar Eclipse viewing party! This event includes protective glasses, giveaways, treats, and more! (Saturday, April 6th and Monday, April 8th)


2- Native American Beadwork: Evolution, Trade, and Artistry at Museum of Indian Culture

Have you visited the Museum of Indian Culture in Salisbury Township? The museum has been hosting a wonderful exhibit over the past year, which displays art work containing glass beads. The exhibit is included in the low-cost tickets for the museum, and children under the age of 12 are free! (Friday - Sunday, April 5th - 7th)


3- Flip Circus at Plymouth Meeting Mall

What's better than acrobats, jugglers, dancers, clowns, and trapeze artists? Seeing them at a discounted price! Flip Circus opens this weekend at the Plymouth Meeting Mall and has showtimes multiple times a day. What a great way to get out and enjoy some family fun this weekend. (Friday - Sunday, April 5th - 7th)


4- The Wizard of Oz

The Alburtis Elementary School Theatre Club will present The Wizard of Oz! Join Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion in their travels through Oz! Tickets are only $5 and support local theater! (Friday, April 5th)


5- Home Depot Kids' Workshop: Lattice Planter

Every month you can head to Home Depot for a high-quality craft using real tools and fun materials. This weekend's craft is a lattice planter. Perfect for your little gardener. (Saturday, April 6th)
