1- Movies at the Pool: The Little Mermaid
What says summer more than an outdoor movie? An outdoor movie at the pool! This weekend, Cedar Beach Pool is partnering with the Allentown Juneteenth Committee for a very special movie night. On Friday, the pool will be open during normal hours at regular admission rates, closing temporarily at 7pm. The pool will then reopen at 8pm with free admission as capacity allows (up to 720 guests). Season pass holders and those who paid admission to enter the pool earlier that day will be given priority entrance to the movie event. (Friday, June 14th)
2- North Whitehall Food Truck Festival
North Whitehall Township is hosting their first ever food truck festival, this Friday! Take a night off from cooking and check out trucks such as: Grubnight, Take-a-Taco, Couchpota-DOH, and Mon and Mels Ice Cream truck. While enjoying dinner, you can enjoy live music and even axe-throwing! (Friday, June 14th)
3- Juneteenth Music and Children's Festival
On Saturday, ArtsQuest and PBS/WLVR are teaming up to bring a variety of musical acts together for this celebration, taking place at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Between the hours of 12-7 PM, three stages will be featuring R&B, Soul, Jazz, Reggae, and Hip Hop music. In addition to music, over 40 vendors from black-owned businesses will be on site. This is sure to be an event that you don't want to miss! (Saturday, June 15th)
4- All the Outdoor Concerts!
Another weekend, another list of awesome outdoor concerts! This weekend check out: Tunes in the Triangle, West Park Concert Series, 2024 Concert Series in the Kutztown Park Band Shell, West Park Concert Series, and Live in the Garden Concert Series. All concerts above are FREE and family-friendly. Grab some snacks, blankets, lawn chairs, and get ready to have some fun! (Friday - Sunday, June 14th - 16th)
