1- Blueberry Festival

It's festival season! If you're new to the Lehigh Valley, get excited! Between now and the end of the calendar year is packed full of festivals. The first up is Burnside Plantation's Blueberry Festival. For two straight days, this large outdoor venue is taken over by all things blueberry! Think great food, live music, fresh, delicious blueberries and desserts, Colonial cooking, gardening, and brewing demos, pony rides, kids activities, and much more! (July 13th and 14th)

2- Movies the Pool: Jaws

Are you looking for a way to connect with your older child/tween/teen? Why not introduce them to an old classic? This Friday night, head to Mack Pool in Allentown for an outdoor showing of Jaws. What better way to watch this classic film than floating around in a body of water??? (Friday, July 12th)

3- Christmas in July at the Park

The weather outside is hot hot hot, but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate the halfway point to Christmas! This Saturday, Pink Heals is teaming up with Bushkill Park & Grove for a Christmas in July event. This festive event will include a photo op with Beach Bum Santa, vendors, skating, and more! (Saturday, July 13th)

4- All the Outdoor Concerts

Another weekend full of fun, FREE, outdoor concerts. This weekend includes: Tunes in the Triangle, Catasauqua Summer Concert Series, West Park Concert Series, Union Terrace Concert Series, 2024 Concerts in the Kutztown Bandshell, Emmaus Concerts in the Park, and Music in Dimmick Park Concert Series. (Friday - Sunday, July 12th - 14th)

5- Splash Around at The Promenade

One of my favorite things to do with my kids when they were toddlers/preschoolers was to head to The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley on a hot summer day. After make a quick stop at Starbucks, we'd head straight to the splash pad with towel and snacks for an afternoon of fun. Those summer days spent splashing and laughing are memories that I will remember forever. This weekend, the pop-jet fountain is open 10 am - 5 pm, weather permitting. (Friday - Sunday, July 12th - 14th)
