Local Author Spotlight - Lstartè

Win a copy of her new book!

July 31, 2015
Where Did All of This Dirt Come From?, the second children's book written by local author Lstartè and illustrated by Joseph Cowman, is a spirited and rhythmic story for children ages 3-7. Readers will join Max, Jack and Mom as they playfully explore a mysterious mountain of dirt that appears in their back yard one Saturday morning.

Lstartè grew up on a small farm in Eastern Pennsylvania riding horses and exploring the countryside. Enjoying all things natural, she studied biology in college which influences her children's stories. With a restless nature and a bold sense of exploration she has backpacked through Europe, flown airplanes and driven an 18 wheeler across the country. Now, as a more settled mom of three, she shares her experiences and zest for life with fun filled children's books.

Where Did All of This Dirt Come From? is available for purchase at Let's Play Books in Emmaus, at Ju-Ju Monkey on Tilghman Street or online here.
