Week 2 June 21-24 Carpe Diem
Seize the day in this week of action-packed adventure and daring endeavors! From obstacle courses to mental gymnastics, campers will try new things and learn more about themselves in the process. Trip: Knobels Theme Park
Week 3 June 27-July 1 Sink you Teeth into Science
Grab your lab coats for this week of edible science! From taste experiments to palette adventures, anything is on the table this week, including test tubes! Who knew science could taste so good! Trip: Turkey Hill Experience
Week 4 July 5-8 Red, White and Run
Join us for an active and festive week celebrating America's birthday. It will be a week of red, white, and blue from our clothes and crafts to our classroom and snacks! Not to mention a little history slipped in to keep our brains growing. All capped off by our unforgettable color run. Trip: Color Run
Week 5 July 11-15 Saddle Up
It's all about the Wild West this week as we gallop through cowboy cahoots, horseback riding, ranchero recipes, and games on the range. Grab your cowboy boots and lassos for some rootin-tootin fun! Trip: Horseback Riding
Week 6 July 18-22 Surf and ...
Catch the wave of all things "surf"! Campers will learn about the wonders of water, from the sea to rivers and creeks. From designing their own fish to creating an underwater ecosystem, campers will be immersed in this fun and fishy week. Trip: Creek Snorkeling
Week 7 July 25 - 29 ... Turf
Embrace the wild side in this week of all things "turf" as campers learn about ecosystems worldwide from jungles to forests and deserts to vistas, not to mention animals at the zoo. This week will be anything but boar-ing! Trip: LV Zoo (K-4)/ Philly Zoo (5-8)
Week 8 August 1-5 Two Steps Back
This week is a blast to the past as campers boogie back in time. Campers will time travel through the decades and discover what music, dance, technology, and entertainment once looked like as they learn different moves, genres, and dancehall crazes. Trip: Roller Skating (K-4) / An ALC Prom (5-8)
Week 9 August 8-12 Three Steps Forward
Strap on your jetpacks! ALC is zooming into the future this week! Campers will shuttle into the future as they create their own time machines, complete time capsules, and design the inventions of tomorrow. Trip: Neag Planetarium
Week 10 August 15-19 ALC Gives Back
Calling all future community leaders! This week is all about giving and making a positive impact in our community and beyond. Campers will make Campers will make their mark and learn firsthand the value of community service in this week that might just change their life. Trip: Arts & Crafts with Senior Citizens (K-4) / Car Wash to Benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (5-8)
Week 11 August 22-26 Carnival
Campers turn carnies this week as they design their own amusement park rides and games of skill, make their own carnival foods, and even get to experiment with some magic tricks! The week will be topped off with an ALC Carnival experience to remember. Trip: Old Fashion Carnival
