At Active Learning Centers, we do summer camp the way it used to be. Children spend most of their day outside playing. They have the opportunity to go to the swimming pool twice a week. They go on field trips once a week and play at a local park at least once a week.

Our summer camp was born out of our martial arts program. Parents kept asking: "Will you take my child for the summer? I want them to have more of this structure and fun."  So we did. The next year it grew. The year after that it grew some more. Eventually, we began to offer full year care… and the rest is history.

Still, we do summer camp all out. Every child enrolled in summer camp will also have the opportunity to take martial arts classes twice a week at no extra charge. The only things you won’t find at this summer camp are TV’s and video games… this is Active Learning Centers. We mean the “active” part!

Camp JCC's all-day camp program, which runs June 10 – August 23, includes arts and crafts, science and imagination, outside fun, dance parties, swimming, recreational time, and more. Our trained counselors will provide care while children enjoy lots of great programming to fit their interests. Choose from Camp Adventure’s traditional outdoor day camp experience featuring special themes, events, and field trips (1st – 8th Grade) or explore new interests with 20 different specialty camps ranging from performing arts and cooking to sports and science (Pre-K -  8th Grade). Our youngest campers can get a taste of what Camp JCC has to offer with Camp Junior (Pre-K & Kindergarten), which runs at a flexible pace with age-appropriate activities. 9th and 10 graders can join our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program and gain valuable hands-on leadership and life skills needed to be successful while still experiencing the fun of camp.

Both full day and half day camps for the active, sports-minded child. Open to both boys and girls ages 8-12. Early drop-off and late pick up options available. 

When school is out, KidStrong Camp is in!

Curriculum includes activities to enhance your child’s character, physical and brain development along age-specific milestones.

Your child will have a blast while learning with their peers and getting tons of physical activity. We’ll be reinforcing important skills like confidence, teamwork, physical fitness, social skills, good sportsmanship, and more! Each camper who signs up for a 5-day session gets a KidStrong Camp shirt.

Come hang this summer in our 10,000sqft indoor facility! Camp activities Include Sports and other instructor led games, Arts and crafts, bounce houses, and so much more! Weekly themes, monthly field trips for school age, weekly special visitors and experiences, Kona Ice visits, and Pizza Fridays!
