Performing Acts of Kindness has tremendous benefits, both for you and those that you help. Macaroni Kid understands the importance of helping those around you, and that's why they created MK AOK Day (Macaroni Kid Act of Kindness Day). This September Macaroni Kid communities across the country will team up to perform acts on kindness in their own backyard.
Mark your calendar now to attend the 2015 Allentown event, a Paint and Sip FUNdraiser on September 18 from 7-9pm. Join other moms from across the region at Out of Our Minds art studio in Macungie to paint a canvas, sip some wine and help support Lehigh Valley Children with Apraxia of Speech.
The cost to participate is $30 per person, which includes everything you need to create an 8x10 canvas painting, as well as popcorn, cheese, crackers and wine! 50% of your fee will go directly towards Apraxia and the other half will cover supplies.
We'll be painting this beautiful sunset image of two children gazing at the stars, (which ties in perfectly with the apraxia symbol of a child reaching for the stars) and no artistic experience is needed!
